Action on Hearing Loss Change Name Back to RNID

Action on Hearing Loss have changed their name back to RNID after nine years. Despite nearly a decade since the charity was called the The Royal National Insitute for Deaf People, the charity state that the name is more trusted, well known, and more popular. 

The name "Action on Hearing Loss" had been described as not accurately reflecting its history of amazing work they do that spans over 100 years of help to Deaf and hard of hearing people. 

The charity state that research conducted with 6,000 people has led to the change back to the much-beloved old name, a new strategy, and brand purpose:

“Together, we will make life fully inclusive for deaf people and those with hearing loss or tinnitus.”
